TMJ Dysfuntion
Suffering from:
- clicking or popping of jaw
- intermittent or constant jaw pain
- muscle tightness
- impaired jaw mobility
- headaches
TMJ dysfunction is usually caused by:
- muscular imbalances
- joint dysfunctions in your jaw, neck, back or shoulders
How do we treat TMJ?
We conduct a thorough examination to identify the exact cause or your TMJ dysfunction and then go over the cause with you, so you can better understand your condition. We then use Active Release Technique to address any soft tissue restrictions and then correct any joint dysfunctions with Chiropractic adjustments. After we have corrected the soft tissue and joint dysfunctions, we put you on a comprehensive in office and at home re-hab program to make sure that the condition does not come back.
